Help our Garden grow

Soos Creek Botanical Garden is maintained almost entirely by dedicated volunteers. Whether you enjoy gardening, welcoming visitors, preserving local history, organizing events, or working behind the scenes, there’s a place for you on our team.

We offer volunteer opportunities for a wide range of interests, experience levels, and schedules, including year-round, seasonal, and occasional roles. Whether you can volunteer every week or just a few times each year, your time and talents help keep the Garden beautiful, welcoming, and thriving.

Don’t see the perfect fit? We’d still love to hear from you. We’re always interested in matching volunteers with their interests, skills, and availability, and we may have opportunities that aren’t yet listed.

Most volunteer roles require no prior experience. We provide the orientation, training, and ongoing support you’ll need to feel confident and succeed.

Ready to Get Involved?

If you’re ready to become part of the Soos Creek Botanical Garden volunteer team, we’d love to hear from you.

To get started, email us at info@sooscreekbotanicalgarden.org and let us know which volunteer opportunity (or opportunities) interest you. We’ll answer any questions you may have, discuss your interests, and help match you with a role that’s a great fit.

Eagle Scout Service Projects

Soos Creek Botanical Garden has been fortunate to benefit from local Eagle Scout candidates. Our Eagle Scouts have built arbors, benches, picnic tables, and roofs over our soil bins and work tables, with close to 3 dozen projects completed. What a pleasure it has been to work with these dedicated youth as they work toward achieving Eagle Scout status!
