Pavilion By The Pond Programs are typically on the third Wednesday of the month, 12:30pm to 2pm. Refer to the calendar for exact dates. No charge, but donations gladly accepted.
The Pavilion provides covered outdoor seating and is located next to the Schaffer Pond.
The Garden closes for the season from late October to early March.

STRINGS IN THE GARDEN
Join us for one of our favorite summer traditions. Auburn Symphony’s String Quartet returns to the beautiful Soos Creek Botanical Garden for a relaxed afternoon of live music surrounded by blooming flowers and winding garden paths.
Bring your picnic, find a shady spot, and enjoy a program of light classical and jazz-inspired string music. Whether you're a longtime fan or simply looking for a peaceful way to spend your Saturday, this outdoor concert is all about good music and good vibes.
Tickets are on sale through the Symphony office and at the gate 1-hour prior to show.

See an array of volunteer uniforms and outfits. Listen to stories of how women have changed lives by meeting the needs of others, including a Seattle MD who took volunteers and an ambulance to France to start a hospital in 1918, WW1.

A month-by-month breakdown of what you should be doing in the rose garden. Who doesn’t love the fragrance, variety of colors and shapes of roses? But are you intimidated? Jeff will help clear up some of the mystery of growing roses.

ROSE TEA IN THE PAVILION. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT
Gather your friends for a fun celebration of Roses! Reserve a table for 8; design your own menu and table decor. Play games for prizes. Learn some fun facts about Roses. Beverages and tablecloths provided. Proceeds go to keeping the Garden beautiful and free entry.

THE ZEN OF JAPANESE GARDENS
Molly van der Burch, Master Gardener presents: The Zen of Japanese Gardens.
Explore the three types of Japanese gardens: dry landscaped, courtyard and stroll gardens. Learn the histories and stories behind each of these unique styles. Beautiful photos taken in Japan may inspire you to re-create elements of these peaceful gardens here in the Pacific Northwest. SCBG has some elements of Japanese gardens: a pond, a flowing stream, graceful bridges, stones and green plants surrounding the pond.

AUBURN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: STRINGS IN THE GARDEN
Join the Auburn Symphony String Quartet for a lovely afternoon in the Garden for fun, family-friendly favorites! Pack a picnic and enjoy some beautiful music with the best view in town. Bring your own lawn chairs or use ours. No alcohol. Gates open at 1pm to stroll the Garden.

INTRODUCTION TO PERMACULTURE
Ryan & Mary Steuber from 13 Hens Farm present: Introduction to Permaculture.
The Steubers are Enumclaw farmers who practice Permaculture methods growing organic fruits and veggies, and raising chickens, ducks, sheep, and rescue goats for their family and community. Join them as they share the principals, ethics and importance of Permaculture as a sustainable agriculture system. Learn how you can apply Permaculture principles to your life.

Vicky Lee French, a certified yoga instructor, will teach a series of 6 classes beginning July 10th and ending with a class on August 14th. The 6 Wednesday classes will each begin at 8:45am and end at 9:45am.
Vicky calls her classes, "Mostly Yoga," and gears the instruction for all levels of yoga experience. No need to pre register.
The charge per class is $10 cash for visitors and no charge for Garden volunteers. Proceeds go toward Garden maintenance.
Bring a yoga mat, large towel and wear loose fitting clothes.
SCBG volunteers and visitors are welcome. Each participant will be asked to sign a hold harmless agreement. It's suggested that participants check with their medical providers before joining the class.
